You are invited to attend the 2018 Art Show from 4 – 6 December.
The exhibition will be held at the Caulfield Campus Hall, Art Room Library. This years art show will feature some amazing work from our Cycle 2, 3 & 4 students.
Monday 3 December at 7pm in Ned’s room.
The guest speaker will be Michele Stockely, Head of Learning at the National Gallery of Victoria.
8.30am – 5pm
Tuesday 4 December, Wednesday 5 December and Thursday 6 December
Work to go home: Friday 7 December
Cycle 2 and 3 students’ art work can be collected from your child’s classroom at the Caulfield Campus. Please come into school on that day to help your children carry all their work out to your car.
Cycle 4 students’ work will be delivered back to the Art Room at the Brighton Campus where it can be collected from by the end of school the day on Friday.
Volunteers are needed to assist in the set up and dismantling of the Art Show. Times and tasks are below. You can sign up through Signupgenius – just follow the link:
Friday 30th November 2018: ART SHOW SET UP
8.30am – 10.30am : Parents to clean the Hall and Art Room, and bring over the work
10.30am – 12.30pm : Parents to put up work
12.30 – 3.15pm : Parents to put up work
Monday 3/12/18: Complete Art Show Set up, Prepare Hall and Ned’s Room for Opening
8.30am – 10.30am : Parents to complete putting up work
10.30am – 12.30pm : Parents to complete putting up work
12.30 – 3pm : Parents to complete putting up work
3pm – 4pm : Parents to set up Ned’s Room putting stools into his room for the opening, and place glasses out on bench outside Hall
6.30pm -7pm : Parents to Set up Food, serviettes and drinks
8 – 9pm : Parents to Pack up glasses and food, and return Ned’s Room, by removing chairs and putting his tables and chairs back
Friday 7/12/18 : PACK UP ART SHOW and return work
8.30am – 10.30 am : Parents to remove work and return to children’s folders
10.30am -12.30pm : Parents to remove work and return to children’s folders
12.30 – 3.15pm : Parents to wrap claywork and return to classes, remove all clips from the Boards, and resurrect the Hall and the Art Room
