Coughs and colds are not to be sneezed at
As we experience colder winter months and spend more time inside with windows and doors closed, common viruses circulate more easily around the school.
If your child is clearly unwell, please keep them home and allow them time to rest and recover.
Please encourage your child to practice good hygiene techniques, too, such as covering their mouth and nose with a tissue or their sleeve when sneezing or coughing. Please remind them to blow their nose using a disposable tissue and to discard tissues in the bin and then wash their hands.
Remind them always to wash their hands before eating and after using the bathroom.
Please stop at the front office and speak with Debra McGee, our school nurse, if you have any questions.

Save the date: Junior School production – The Lorax 2.0
What does the 2.0 mean? Well, our current Year 6 students have worked their magic and created a wonderful new adaptation of the original story! They have added an exciting new perspective to the beginning and end of their narrative, and they’ve created many new characters and a snazzy make-over for some of our favourite ones.
The Ensemble roles have been cast, every Cycle 2 and Cycle 3 class has just finished writing the script for their scene, and we are about to start dance rehearsals.
We will be looking for a few passionate, creative parent helpers to assist with small costume-making tasks which will contribute to their parent levy. There will be a call out with specific details very soon!
Key Dates:
Dress Rehearsal: Wednesday, 11 September at Kingston Arts Centre 8:45 am to 3:15 pm (Cycles 2 and 3)
Performance: Thursday, 12 September at 6:30pm, Kingston Arts Centre
Ticket sales will open in Term 3.
Call out for robotic equipment
We need your help! We’re seeking donations of old remote-control cars and robot kits – working or not – to enhance our students’ learning experiences. Your contributions will directly support hands-on STEM education, fostering critical thinking and innovation. Please drop off any unused items at the school office or IT space during school hours. Thank you for your support in empowering our students’ education.
Student Housing
