At the end of 2022, Anne Smith, Arts Learning Executive from Independent Schools Victoria (ISV) came to our school and chose some artworks from our art show to feature in the 2023 Annual ISV Student Art Exhibition.
On Wednesday, 26 July this year that exhibition took place in Docklands.
What happened?
At 6.00 pm all the artists and their families gathered at Docklands to attend the opening. Artworks were displayed from: Beaconhills College, Camberwell Girls Grammar School, Hume Anglican Grammar, Huntingtower, Kilvington Grammar School, Melbourne Montessori College, Sophia Mundi Steiner School and Yarra Valley Grammar.

The artworks that were displayed were: Moth Construction by Luke F, Chalk Moth by Sebastian P, Portrait Bust of Samuel Porcello by Josh S, Portrait Bust of Albert Einstein by Max H, Tessellation in Yellow by Peter H, Tessellation in Purple by Polly F, Scarred Sunrise by Bal G, Portrait Bust of Ronni Kahn by Mietta W, Tessellation in Squares by Mietta W and Surreal Moonlit Landscape by Ivy L.
Bal said: “I made my art piece because it reminded me of the sunsets at the beach near my house.”
Peter said: “The art show was good and I liked the way they displayed the artworks.”
