Go Janet!
MMS families met at RSEA Park Moorabbin on Saturday, 7 October to watch a 3:05 pm kick-off between St Kilda Saints and Hawthorn Hawks. Amongst the players lining up that day was MMS’s very-own receptionist, Janet Baird.
We cheered on Hawthorn (Janet’s team) from the Hawks section of the Grand Stand. Unfortunately, Janet was not selected to play that day and the Hawks lost to the Saints —even though they played a good second half and managed to catch up a little.
But our MMS goes AFLW outing in 2024, our third one, will for sure see Janet play and the Hawks win!
The kids had loads of fun on the sidelines, going for a ride on the ferris wheel, getting their faces painted, participating in craft activities and exerting themselves in play areas. Parents had plenty of time for a good old yarn watching their little ones…and the game of course.
Our MMS support for Janet and her team does not go unnoticed and the kids were invited to come on to the oval after the match to kick a ball or two.
