Dr Mina Shafer was an Art and Social Science teacher. She retrained as a Family Art Therapist and worked as a family and child therapist at Relationships Australia for 20 years. She has written and illustrated several children’s picture books to help children cope with big emotions and their relationships. Mina has presented her children’s books to the staff at MMS and facilitated discussions on ways of enhancing children productive coping skills. She is delighted to talk to parents on some of the ways she has used children’s different activities to help them enhance their coping skills, relationships and wellbeing.
