Learning The Art Of Geometry

In Walert, the students have been learning a lot about geometry and after lessons and discovering more about triangles and quadrilaterals, some students decided to do some beautiful follow-up work. They used watercolours to decorate their shapes and displayed their finished work on posters. This was such a fun and creative way to demonstrate and bring their geometric knowledge to life!
Brain Hats and Building Cities

Earlier this term, the Walert students had a great time making ‘brain hats’ in class as part of a lesson about the human brain. Students researched, designed and assembled their hats as part of this fascinating activity!
The Walert class has also been busy making their own city from recycled materials. As they build, they have to take in to consideration all the complex infrastructure that a city requires to function and thrive.
